Greater Geary Community Foundation Local Grants
The Greater Geary Community Foundation is opening the grant process for GGCF fund holders that have a project that is focused on the arts and humanities, basic human needs, children and youth, the elderly, community development and leadership, medical care, and mental health. The Funds provided for these grants are from individual donations to GGCF and the Patterson Family Foundation. Grants awards are contingent on the availability of funds as deemed by the GGCF Board of Directors.
- Focus Areas: Grants are focused on the following areas: arts and humanities, basic human needs, children and youth, the elderly, community development and leadership, medical care, and mental health.
- Eligibility: Only 501c3 organizations with a potential project will be considered.
- Grant Amount: Grants will be for no more than $3,000.
- Project Scope: Proposals should not be for projects requiring ongoing support from GGCF.
- Funding Source: The funds provided for these grants come from individual donations to GGCF and the Patterson Family Foundation. Grant awards are contingent on the availability of funds as deemed by the GGCF Board of Directors.
- Application Process:
- Grant applications open on April 15, 2024.
- Grant applications are due on May 15, 2024.
- Grant applicants will be notified on June 15, 2024, regarding the success of their grant request.
- Reporting Requirement: Within 90 days of completing your project, you must submit a report to GGCF on the outcome and success of your project.
- Additional Information: Additional information on your grant request may be requested.
Applicants will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of their application.
