Geary County Food Pantry Fund
The Geary County Food Pantry is dedicated to addressing the critical issue of food insecurity in Geary County, which currently affects a significant portion of our community, including nearly one in four children. As demand for food assistance continues to rise, the pantry is committed to providing access to nutritious foods while honoring the dignity and autonomy of each individual we serve. We strive to educate and raise awareness about hunger and its impact locally through collaborative community partnerships.
To better meet growing needs, the pantry has purchased land and begun constructing a larger facility at the corner of 7th Street and Clay Street. This upgraded space will allow for expanded services, including increased availability of fresh, healthy foods, and a more client-centered approach that supports personal choice. Contributions support the ongoing development and infrastructure of this vital community resource, helping to ensure that no neighbor in Geary County goes hungry.
